I received my bachelors of science in biology from the University of Wisconsin and did graduate work in physiology at Tulane University. My Masters in Oriental Medicine was obtained in 2007 from Northwestern Health Sciences University. I am certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and also licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. My strong background in western medicine provides me with a unique perspective on Traditional Chinese Medicine and allows better diagnoses and communication with patients.
When I’m not working, I enjoy quilting, doing yoga and spending time with my husband, beautiful daughter, and two dogs.

I use a wide range of Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques to successfully treat and diagnose my patients, including acupuncture, tui na, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, plum flower needling, electro-acupuncture and dietary therapy. I am one of the few private clinics in the Twin Cities with a full herbal pharmacy which allows me to create unique herbal formulas specifically tailored to each patient's needs.
I also have advanced training and certification in facial rejuvenation acupuncture (acupuncture facelifts.) This is a less expensive and more natural alternative to invasive surgical procedures.

Acupuncture w/ initial consultation 80.00 – Follow-up visits 60.00
Your first appointment begins with an intake, history and exam to determine a proper diagnosis. Herbs may be prescribed in addition to a treatment regiment. Initial visit will take approximately 75 min. Follow-up visits 45-60 min.
Facial rejuvenation w/ initial consultation 110.00 – Follow-up visits 90.00
A series of treatments designed to reduce wrinkles and sagging while improving skin tone and elasticity. The underlying causes of aging are identified and addressed constitutionally to help restore balance to the face and body. It provides a holistic and noninvasive alternative to plastic surgery. Initial visit will take 90 min. Follow-up visits 60 min.
Herb consultation 40.00
The appointment includes an intake and history to prescribe individualized formulas for patients not seeking acupuncture. Price does not include the cost of herbs. The appointment will take 30 min.
